If you don't already listen to Alkaline Trio, do yourself a favor and check them out. Their lyrics are dark, the melodies pop infused punk, their singer is unique (and has great teeth), and it'll make me happy if everyone listened to them. Their 6th album, Agony & Irony, is released tomorrow and I'm sure it'll be as incredible as their last five.
