Come on Michael Cera! Just do it!

Will Arnett is the latest cast member of Arrested Development to say he'd do the movie. Looks like the only hold out now is Michael Cera...for reasons that don't really make much sense. Throw some money at him or something. Give him top billing. Just get him to agree so this movie can be made!!

Drew Barrymore gets all the fun boyfriends

If you know me, you know that I absolutely adore Drew Barrymore. Say what you will about her acting, I LOVE HER and her movies. (...Most of them) And now she's given me another reason to think she's awesome: she's reportedly dating Jason Segel. Good for her.

We have to go back, Kate!

With every new promo, I get more excited.

Jason Segel and Paul Rudd, together again.

I want to see this, if for the cast only. Luckily, it looks funny.

I like my werewolves intelligent and dry

Prolific writer Jane Espenson, of Buffy and Battlestar fame, is going to be writing a comic book series centering on one of the best characters ever, Oz.

I'll take my Seth Green however I can get him.

Too much awesome.

The cast of How I Met Your Mother is amazing. Check out the pictures from this week's EW where they recreate some of the big moments of 2008.The Jonas Brothers

The Office casting news

Jack Black will be guest starring on The Office in their post-Superbowl episode. So cool.

More Misha is a good thing

My favorite piece of news today: not only has Misha Collins' role been expanded on Supernatural this season, but according to this article, should the show be picked up for a fifth season, he may be added as a regular. Yes, please!

Wolverine!!!

OMG.

To hold us over until January

The first of the ten Battlestar Galactica webisodes came out today on Sci-Fi.com. The story takes place between where the series left off back in May and what we'll be seeing Starting next month, and centers on Gaeta and a couple Eights as they're stuck in a lost raptor with a couple other people, lost from the fleet and running out of oxygen. The first part is just a little over 4 minutes, and is good so far.

See for yourself.

Doctor Who Christmas Special

Here's a trailer for this year's Doctor Who Christmas special.

I...don't know why they have to keep using the same villains. Daleks. Cybermen. *Sigh*. For such a creative show, they really lack in ideas sometimes.

But, on the other hand, I'll take anything as long as Tennant is in it.

You know what?

Andy Samberg is a freakin' genius.

David Cook...I love you.

Seriously. Dude is awesome.

Pink is awesome

But is it weird that she's making out with herself in her new video?

BSG in 13 minutes

Battlestar Galactica may be ending in 2009, but that doesn't mean you can't Catch the Frak Up now, by watching this 13 minute video on Sci Fi's site. It's amusing, and gives a good overview of the series so far.

The final ten episodes start airing January 16th.

Jimmy Fallon!!

If you know me, you know I LOVE Jimmy Fallon. I think he's hilarious, and I used to religiously watch SNL just for him. I'm really happy he's taking over for Conan next year, and think he's going to do a great job.

Until then, he's posting these video blogs on his site. The first one was released yesterday.

I'm really looking forward to what he's going to do.

Welcome to the Dollhouse

Fox has released photos of some of the 'fresh faces' of next season, including this one of Tahmoh Penikett. He's just...dreamy.

Sickboy is a daddy

Jonny Lee Miller, of Trainspotting, Eli Stone and Angelina Jolie's first ex and his wife had a baby boy. Which they named Buster.

Will the weird names never end?

Also, remember when he looked like this:
Yum.

Puppies make everything better

I've had a cold for weeks. I feel like crap. This made me feel better:

Just found a good video of this one

I know it was released last week, but I couldn't find one that was embed-able. Now I have.

HA!

"They've started making the second one. It's going to be shot in March next year. The second book is my favourite book - I'm hardly in it."
- Robert Pattinson on 'New Moon', which will be going into production soon.

From here.

Joss and Eliza

It's been a while since I've had any Dollhouse stuff posted, which isn't because there hasn't been any. There's been tons. It's just not fun stuff. I like fun stuff.

Like this:

Gambit!

It's the first official picture (from Empire Magazine) of Taylor Kitsch as Gambit in the upcoming Wolverine movie. Admittedly, he looks like...Taylor Kitsch with cards, but hey, I'm just happy he's in the movie. Now give me some pics of Dominic Monaghan!

The expanding world of BSG.

The Sci-Fi channel has green lit Caprica, the prequel to Battlestar Galactica. The 2-hour pilot was shot earlier this year as a possible stand-alone movie if the show itself wasn't picked up, but now that it has been, it's looking like it will just be the first episode of the series.

Is there something in the water on the Fox lot?

First Alyson Hannigan announces that she's pregnant, and now Cobie Smulders is too! Lily having a baby can be explained on the show easily given that she and Marshall have openly discussed it, but Robin? I wonder if they'll go the hide-her-behind-a-pillow/counter/tabletop route since Robin's been really vocal about not wanting kids.

Please, please, please don't let them have Barney knock her up. It'll change EVERYTHING and not in a good way.

Is Joaquin Phoenix losing his mind?

He got up on stage at a Culver City club and RAPPED. And was filmed by Casey Affleck. For a documentary they're making on Joaquin's transition from actor to musician.

Rapped.

But really what I'm more upset about is the fact that Joaquin Phoenix and Casey Affleck were in a bar together near where I used to live. Crazy or not, I love those two.

How stupid are some people?

Smoke pot INSIDE, Kristen Stewart. You're in the #1 movie in the country right now; people might just know your face. Dumbass.

Oh wait, I meant Happy Slapsgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!

Now watch the Macy's Day Parade get genuinely Rick Rolled.

Admittedly, I don't really understand this Rick Rolling phenomenon, but I do love that song (what? I was a child in the 80's) so I approve. Also, doesn't Rick Astley look like Clay Aiken all grown up?

That's my president!

Obama surprised Biden with cupcakes for Biden's 66th birthday this week. A man after my heart.

It's a little hipster emo boy.

I am unembarrassed to admit that I love love love Fall Out Boy. I think Patrick Stump has an amazing voice, and the songs are catchy and clever. I also think Pete Wentz is a total famewhore. But he's cute, and his relationship with Ashlee Simpson made her more interesting to me.

Anyway, they had a baby boy on Thursday. Also, they named him Bronx. For reals. Little Bronx Wentz can hang out with Brooklyn Beckham and Phoenix Scary Spice (or whatever that kid's last name is). Naming a kid after a city is so hip. Oh yeah, and his middle name is Mowgli. LOL.

Harsh, ABC.

Well. This just sucks. ABC has decided to drop Pushing Daisies, Dirty Sexy Money and Eli Stone. I only don't care about Eli Stone, other than the fact that I think Jonny Lee Miller is adorable. And I can kiiiiinda see why they're dropping Dirty Sexy Money, as I really can't tell (a) what the point of the show is and (b) where it could possibly go. But it's fun, frothy, soapy entertainment. A hell of a lot better than the new 90210, which I gave up on after 3 episodes.

But Pushing Daisies?! Really, ABC? Instead of trying to push it, you dump it? Awesome.

Twilight comes out tomorrow.

My prediction is that it'll suck. But I still love Robert Pattinson. That kid is nuts.

Lost season 5 promo poster

Notice that Locke is placed very close to the center. And that Daniel is on the Island - his fate was unclear in the season finale - and there's no sign of Jin. Also, where's Aaron?

Cupid

I never watched the original with Jeremy Piven - which I have no explanation for, since I've been a fan of his since Say Anything - so I don't have anything to compare this to. Which may turn out to be a good thing, because it looks adorable.

Battlestar speculations.

Io9 has a great article weighing the possibilities of who might be the final Cylon in the Final Five that's got me thinking. My prediction has always been Gaeta, but after reading the article, I have to consider Seelix as well. It would explain her fascination with Anders. You know, other than because he's gorgeous.

I don't know how I feel about this

Somehow I missed this article last month about the probability of The Goonies becoming a musical, and I'm a little bothered. My reasons are threefold: (a) I generally don't like musicals; (b) I generally don't like musical theater and (c) I really, really wish people would just leave The Goonies alone and let it stay a perfect classic of my youth. Now, does this mean that if the Broadway show happens that I will boycot it? No. Of course I'll go see it, if only to confirm my opinion that it's a bad idea.

The good news: it seems like all talk of a sequel is finally out. Thank God. That would have been a nightmare.

Gimme.

According to Sir Paul, there is an unreleased Beatles track called "Carnival of Light" that the group deemed too 'experimental' to be mainstream back in 1967. But, it's fine to release it 39 years later, now that we'll all listen to ANYTHING we haven't heard by the greatest band ever. I'm not being sarcastic. I want to hear it now.

Well, crap.

Yeah, I don't like Star Trek, blah blah. Just watch the recently released trailer and tell me it doesn't look AWESOME. Damn you, Abrams.

Our new First Lady rocks.

I love this blog dedicated to Michelle Obama's fashion choices. Sure, it seems trivial, but people are still talking about Jackie O's style 40 years later. It makes sense that we'd all be fascinated with Michelle and her clothes considering she's our generation's Jackie.

Hey, Justin? I think I love you.

Yeah, that's right. Justin Timberlake is fucking awesome.

That magnet my roommate got me as a joke 5 years ago isn't so ironic anymore.

Ryan started the fire!

Rumor has it that BJ Novak may be leaving The Office for good. Which, character-wise, makes sense considering the pretty unbelievable way they're keeping him on the show right now (Ryan was fired from Dunder Mifflin Corporate for drugs and fraud, and now is working at Dunder Mifflin Scranton as a temp). I know it's TV, but come on. His hiring would still need to go through Corporate, from which he was fired. It's just improbable and contrived in order to keep him on there. I say let the smarmy temp go. And more Pam!

Nice mustache.

My favorite wacky Brit Robert Pattinson is ROCKING that mustache in the upcoming film Little Ashes, in which he plays Salvador Dali.

Usually he just looks like this:

New Watchmen posters.

I like the one of Jeffrey Dean Morgan best. The Comedian looks like a badass.

The little show that could

Help save Pushing Daisies before ABC prematurely pulls the plug. This show is adorable, unique and charming, and should be given more time to gain viewers. The writer's strike last year hurt it, and ABC seems to be giving up rather than supporting it by advertising it. It's the most uplifting show about death you'll ever see.

Plus, the cast is pretty, and it's a visually gorgeous show.

Here's what you can do:

  • Sign the petition.
  • Watch episodes on ABC.com.
  • Write to ABC either online or snail mail (not that anyone uses that anymore, really, but it can't hurt) at 500 S. Buena Vista St., Burbank, CA 91521-4551.
  • WATCH THE SHOW on Wednesdays at 8 PM on ABC.
Honestly, it's a great show and I'm really tired of great shows - like Dead Like Me, Firefly, Arrested Development, Freaks & Geeks, etc. - getting canceled too soon.
