The new Twilight poster. I agree with everything Amy Wilkinson has to say about it over on EW.com. Why bother making such a big deal about how beautiful Edward/RPattz is if you're going to just make him look like shit?

Why RPATTZ is cooler than you

Because he did an interview with Empire magazine where he said this:

"When you read the book," says [Robert] Pattinson, looking appropriately pallid and interesting even without makeup, "it's like, 'Edward Cullen was so beautiful I creamed myself.' I mean, every line is like that. He's the most ridiculous person who's so amazing at everything. I think a lot of actors tried to play that aspect. I just couldn't do that. And the more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that's how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself. Plus, he's a 108-year-old virgin so he's obviously got some issues there."

I mean, really. Look at it. It's amazing.

His hair is epic.

Too bad he's forever linked to the ridiculousness that is the Twilight fandom. Don't get me wrong, I've read the Twilight books and enjoyed them enough to finish all three despite my utter hatred for the protagonist, and I plan on reading the final installment (which comes out on August 2nd). But the fangirls are insane. INSANE. And so, missing out on the Twilight panel at Comic-Con might not have been a bad thing.
