It's like he won't rest until I love him. He may have won me over with this performance, which you might have missed if you weren't watching it live or didn't record Fringe because American Idol ran 8 or so minutes long. And sure, he's just doing Gary Jules' Donnie Darko version of Mad World, but that doesn't make it any less brilliant.
He's still not my favorite - that title belongs to Matt - but when he isn't making my ears bleed, he's pretty fucking amazing.

OMG NO! I hate him; I hate him; I HATE HIM! Ugh that song is so haunting and sad, and his weird little falsetto screams made me want to punch my TV. I think people only like him because he looks like a puffier version of Emile Hirsch.

I think as a person, he seems lovely. I really loved all the glitter-skirt wearing-kissing boys pictures that leaked a few weeks ago. I want to see THAT Adam on Idol. As for his voice, well. Most of the time my ears don't like the sound of it and he makes me want to die just so I'm not suffering anymore. And then he sings something soft and pretty - ear-piercing falsetto at the aside, because I totally agree with you on that - and I start to waver. But trust me, I don't WANT to like him. I'm all about Matty Giraud.
