This seems to be true

According to just about every gossip and non gossip site out there, Tom Brady and Gisele got married in a private surprise ceremony on Thursday. Their engagement was rumored and debunked so many times that I'm hesitant to believe this, but if Tom's high school football coach says it, it must be, right?

Congrats if it's real, you ridiculously beautiful couple. Now, enjoy the honeymoon so Tommy can get back on the field and play!

Daaaamn.

I'd like to thank Jamie Bamber for this photo. (And Peta). Keep up the good work, Bambi.

Great news!

Supernatural has been renewed for a 5th season. Please let this mean they'll hold true to the rumor that Misha Collins will be a regular.

YAY!!

Conan O'Brien and Andy Richter together again!! This is awesome.

Also, if you've never seen 'Andy Richter Controls the Universe', it comes out on DVD March 24th. Rent it, buy it, whatever. It was hilarious.

So surreal

Prince covered Jimmy Eat World's "The Middle" at his Oscar party on Sunday. That's...incredibly cool.

BFFs!!!

I love Dom Monaghan and Billy Boyd and their awesome friendship. They're adorable.

Please watch Dollhouse

The second episode was better than the first. Tahmoh Penikett said the show really hits its groove around episode 5. Even Buffy and Angel took a little while to get really good - Buffy not until season 2, Angel about 6 or so episodes in. I mean, not everything can be season 1 of Lost or Heroes. And come on, Heroes sucks now. I'd rather watch a show that steadily gains momentum than one that starts strong and then crashes and burns phenomenally.

Dollhouse. Friday nights at 9 PM on Fox.

Best parts of the Oscar ceremony

The Pineapple Express skit

And Ben Stiller becoming my hero by acting like Joaquin Phoenix

Oscar party pics

I think it's funny that it looks like Zac Efron is copping a bit of a feel on Anne Hathaway's booty.

Naomi looks tired. PS: Sean Penn's acceptance speech was awesome.
I...don't know what is going on with Reese's dress.

What a weird combination of ladies.
I wonder if Chase and Carrie were at the same party.
Also: I'm not a huge fan of her dress.

Oscar Fashions

Is it bad to admit that I'm always disappointed when there aren't any real trainwrecks on the red carpet? Tilda Swinton doesn't even count; she always dresses weird. Out of all of the dresses, I only really hated Jessica Biel's. (What was that? My BFF appropriately asked if she was wearing a sheet). On the other hand, no one blew me away. Kate Winslet's dress was interesting and different and fit her perfectly. Sarah Jessica Parker's was glamorous and the color not one seen often. Penelope Cruz, I must admit, always chooses beautiful gowns. Even Heidi Klum's hot pink dress wasn't as bad as I thought upon a closer look - though she was wearing far too much clunky jewelry. I'm not a huge fan of mermaid silhouettes, and I think Melissa George's dress isn't pretty at all, but it's still not atrocious. If I had to pick a favorite, it would be Anne Hathaway's.

So, instead, I'll just post these for the heck of it, with minimal commentary.

I really loved Taraji P. Henson's necklace.

I love that Leslie Mann kinda looks like she's wearing a disco ball.

Freida Pinto hasn't failed to wear gorgeous dresses at all of the awards, so it's kind of sad that her Oscar gown is a bit of a disappointment. She looks great in it, but...what's up with that one lace sleeve?

I would like Amanda Seyfreid's dress a whole lot more if that bow weren't there.

In related news, the photographers are kind of pissed that some stars opted to not walk the red carpet. I wonder how the designers feel about that, too.

What? No Paul Rudd?

I really like Judd Apatow movies. It's true. Funny People looks great.

I kinda want Seth Rogen to gain the weight back, even though he looks fantastic thin. I like him chubby, what can I say?

Maybe they'll record this

I meant to post this the other day and I forgot. It's Carrie Underwood and David Cook doing an awesome cover of 'Go Your Own Way' by Fleetwood Mac.

You gotta love Tarantino

The teaser trailer for Inglorious Basterds is pretty freaking awesome.

Twitter: bringing fans to the celebrities

I'm fully aware of the Twitter craze, and while I don't personally tweet, I do have one in order to read all of the celebrity stuff. I mean, Jimmy Fallon, Pete Wentz, Rachel Maddow, John Mayer, Amber Benson, Micheal Muhney and Wil Wheaton among so many others have twitters. It's fun to see that their thoughts are just as random and/or stupid as everyone else's.

Shaq also has one, and this is a cute story of a couple guys in Phoenix who met him by trying to see if "The Real Shaq" was, indeed, The Real Shaq. I have to admit, I'm really glad Shaq was cool to them.

I approve.

How cute is Leighton Meester's new hair?!

Yay Aaron Douglas!

Aaron Douglas is the latest of the Battlestar Galactica cast to land himself his own series. CBS will be airing "The Bridge", a Canadian production that has been on the pipeline for four years. Unfortunately, I can't say whether I'll watch it, much as I love Aaron. It just sounds a little like most CBS procedurals. But I'll check out the pilot for sure.

Remember this guy?

If you, like me, watched Rock Star: INXS obsessively a few years ago, then you do. JD Fortune, the hottie that won the, um, "coveted" role of replacing the perfect Michael Hutchense has apparently been fired from the band and is now once again living in his car. I'd feel bad for him, except that he willingly used "all of his remaining money" to pay for a solo album to be produced. So, he'd rather be homeless with a record that no one is going to buy than find a fucking job and live in a studio apartment or something. Classy.

...Um.

Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood +
Jafar =
Mel Gibson's new look. Yes?

It's official

There will be another Sex and the City movie. Now, ok, I liked the movie just fine. However, I love the show more. These stories work in a 30-minute format, and the movie was about 30 minutes too long. And somewhat depressing. And made me almost completely hate Miranda. Here's hoping the next one will be fun like the show was.

Without my favorite, sadly

Paste Magazine did a list of the ten best songs by The Smiths, and while I agree with their choices, they left out my personal favorite, "Please Please Please Let Me Get What I Want". (Anyone who knows me shouldn't be surprised that that one is my favorite). I'm curious what my BFF would think of this list, and how much her list would differ, being the biggest fan of The Smiths I've ever known.

And if you aren't familiar with them, do yourself a favor and become so. They're excellent.

I'll take as much as they'll give me

How awesome has Battlestar Galactica been since it returned last month? I'll tell you: mind-blowingly awesome. And now it seems that the finale will be three hours long, split into two parts between March 13th and March 20th. Which is just fine by me. Give me more!!
