Not so shocking, really.

It's confirmed: TR Knight is leaving Grey's Anatomy. Katherine Heigl isn't. I'd much rather have George than Izzie.

I guess I'll have to watch this too.

Katee Sackhoff has been cast as a series regular on 24 for next season (Day 8). Which is awesome, except that 24 hasn't been great in a really long time. And they've also cast Freddie Prinze Jr., who can't really act.

Or maybe I'll wait for DVD. I'm really over this show.

Please let this happen!

Rumors are arising that NBC is trying to broker a deal with DirecTV to have not one, but TWO more seasons of Friday Night Lights. Please, please, please. That would be awesome.

Doctor Who Companion news

I'm still not all that excited about the new Doctor on Doctor Who, but I have to say, if this casting rumor is true, having Cassie from Skins as the Companion makes it all the more interesting.

Just let them go already.

I'm so sick of Katherine Heigl and T.R. Knight and their characters on Grey's. I used to adore both George and Izzie, but now they're just annoying. Write them out. Everyone else on that show is more interesting anyway.

I kinda love how much TWOP seems to hate them. Hilarity.

Ryan started the fire!

Rumor has it that BJ Novak may be leaving The Office for good. Which, character-wise, makes sense considering the pretty unbelievable way they're keeping him on the show right now (Ryan was fired from Dunder Mifflin Corporate for drugs and fraud, and now is working at Dunder Mifflin Scranton as a temp). I know it's TV, but come on. His hiring would still need to go through Corporate, from which he was fired. It's just improbable and contrived in order to keep him on there. I say let the smarmy temp go. And more Pam!

I'll make it to the moon if I have to crawl

One of my favorite rock stars, Anthony Kiedis of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, is developing a show for HBO based on his unconventional childhood. I read his book, Scar Tissue (also the name of the show), and I loved it. He's had a fascinating life, and if this show happens, I'll be setting the DVR for it.

Attention Upper East Siders...

According to Ausiello, The CW has ordered two additional episodes of Gossip Girl for this season, which brings it to 24 total, where most other hour-long dramas have a standard 22. I'm glad it's doing well, ratings-wise, because I love the show and I'm tired of shows I like either being on the bubble or canceled.

Lame.

I love Rock Band, but isn't making a TV show taking it a little far?

President Roslin on Grey's Anatomy!

According to this report, Mary McDonnell will be guest starring on Grey's Anatomy this season. So I can add her to my list of which BSG cast members will be seen on which shows. I'm just happy they're all working (though I wasn't worried about Mary. She's always been amazing and recognized for it).

How I Met Your Mother comes back in a couple weeks - September 22nd, I think - and the spoilers/rumors are starting to come out. Ever since Sarah Chalke took the role as Stella, people have been trying to figure out if she's The Mother. I've read theories all summer. TV Guide has a blog post regarding casting that weighs heavily on Ted and Stella taking the plunge this season.

None of this means she's The Mother, though. Keep that in mind.

And anyway, I'm more interested in what's going to happen with Barney and Robin.

Gossip Girl Spoilers

Ausiello: As I mentioned in my Gossip Girl premiere wrap party video, I got the distinct impression that the show is laying the groundwork for a possible Rufus-Vanessa pairing. The signs are subtle, but they're there. I'm curious to see what you guys think. Elsewhere, there's a scene between Leighton Meester and guest cougar Madchen Amick in the second episode that was so good I nearly wept. No surprise that exec producer Stephanie Savage -- who's second only to Patrick Mulcahey (Santa Barbara) when it comes to writing bitchtastic dialogue -- penned the outing. Oh, and many words have been used to describe Chace Crawford's Nate -- hot, sexy, tasty, yummy, etc. Well, by the end of the second ep, you'll be able to add male prostitute to that list.

Let's discuss.

1. Rufus/Vanessa? First of all: gross. Yes, it will be hot because Matthew Settle and Jessica Szohr are hot people, but her best friend is his son. Sick sick sick.
2. Blair vs. the Cougar? AWESOMESAUCE.
3. Nate...male prostitute? Will he be naked? Will he look like this picture? Then I approve.

Another 90210 post?

OK, I admit it, I'd really like to see Tori Spelling reprise her Donna Martin role. There, it's out there. Sure, Tori's not a good actress, but how can it be 90210 without Donna's drama?

Apparently, Jennie Garth is upset about it. And Shannen Doherty says they didn't "get the numbers right" so maybe the reports are wrong. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

Oh, and I'm still holding out hope for a Dylan appearance.

Apparently things aren't going so well over at the CW if they're planning on basing the fate of the network on whether the new 90210 is a hit.

Strangely, I had a dream last night that had Brenda Walsh in it. I need to stop watching old re-runs on SoapNet.

Corey Haim fails again

According to this site, A&E is canceling The Two Coreys. I'm sure it's true, but I couldn't find anything official from the network, so until then, it's a rumor. But, Haim did have a complete meltdown, and most likely started doing drugs again. I still feel sorry for him, but he obviously doesn't want to help himself, you know?

I guess I'll have to continue watching I Love Money for my train wreck needs.
