You know what I haven't gushed about in a while? Star Trek, the Star Trek cast, and/or Chris Pine. So, to make up for that, here's the gag reel from the upcoming DVD. Which, incidentally, comes out on my birthday. It's like JJ knew and wanted to give me a gift.

It's ANOTHER Star Trek related post. It's time for me to let go of old prejudices and embrace fully the fact that New!Trek is so awesome that I think about it more than I should, and crush over its cast more than I have over one cast since the Lord of the Rings.

Someday I'll just have to completely cave and admit that JJ Abrams achieved the impossible: he made me like Star Trek. A Star Trek that stars Chris So Fucking Beautiful It Should Be A Crime Pine and Simon Is Always Fucking Awesome Pegg. And that day will be the day I see this movie, I'm guessing. Because really, how ridiculously awesome is that trailer?

Well, crap.

Yeah, I don't like Star Trek, blah blah. Just watch the recently released trailer and tell me it doesn't look AWESOME. Damn you, Abrams.

Chris Pine might be one of the most beautiful men I've ever seen. And it's ridiculous how much Zachary Quinto looks like Leonard Nimoy. It's eerie. All of this plus Simon Pegg? I didn't stand a chance of resisting.

I really hate Star Trek. I mean, HAAAAAAATE. But leave it to the nefarious JJ Abrams to get me interested in another Star Trek movie. I thought Simon Pegg was enough to do it, but holy crap is Chris Pine hot!

I might end up being there opening night if there's even a hint that he takes his shirt off.
