I can't wait to see this movie!

The more I see of The Runaways, the more I think they actually got it right.

Don't You Forget About Me - The Documentary

I totally want to see this and not just because they got an interview with WYATT from Weird Science! That guy dropped out of Hollywood almost immediately after that movie was made! Like everyone my age, or everyone who's ever watched and loved movies, John Hughes made movies that moved, enriched, and defined my life in so many ways. This documentary looks to be a fitting and timely tribute.

Opens next week!

It's got all the things that normally get me jumping in anticipation to see a movie: Brad Pitt, WWII, Quentin Tarantino...so why haven't I been as excited about Inglourious Basterds as I should be? I mean, look at that poster! It's awesome. Brad's awesome delivery of "killing Nazis" in the trailer should be enough to guarantee my ticket, and that's besides the fact that it's a movie about a bunch of Jewish soldiers killing Nazis! Word coming back from the premiere last night is that it's awesome, so I'm hoping that whatever reservations I seem to be having dissipate and my excitement about this movie returns before it's out of the theater.

Burton's Wonderland

Tim Burton is making a new 3-D live-action Alice In Wonderland, which is exciting to me for two main reasons: I love Tim Burton movies, and I love Alice In Wonderland. However, I am fucking terrified now, seeing how he's conceptualized certain characters and made them so very clown-like.

Johnny Depp as The Mad Hatter.

Helena Bonham Carter as the Red Queen. (Terrifying!)

Anne Hathaway as the White Queen.

Alice.

Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum.

Hello, Holmes.

Robert Downey Jr. continues to be smokin' hot. Jude Law's pretty fine too. Can't wait for this movie!

Ah, Russell Brand.

I really, really like Russell Brand, as most people seem to lately. I'm admittedly late on this particular bandwagon, but at least I'm aboard. He's really intelligent under all that make-up and teased hair, and undeniably funny, though his humor might not be everyone's favorite type. His book, My Booky Wook, is great, by the way. And the sequel to Forgetting Sarah Marshall, 'Get Him To The Greek', has a pretty great cast. Not sure if there'll be any cameos by Kristen Bell or Jason Segel, but we can always hope.

From the director of Office Space

Extract, starring a bunch of people I love a lot: Jason Bateman, Ben Affleck, Mila Kunis, Kristen Wiig and JK Simmons, as well as some others. Looks pretty funny.

Brothers Bloom trailer

Great, great cast. A friend of mine saw this at the Toronto Film Festival and said it was by far the best movie she saw there. I think it looks fantastic.

Cherrybomb trailer

Ron Weasley all grown up. Rockabilly looks good on him.

You gotta love Tarantino

The teaser trailer for Inglorious Basterds is pretty freaking awesome.

This movie was shot over 2 years ago.

And there's finally a semi-release date. And a trailer that barely shows Kristen Bell, even though at some point she's wearing this in it:

You'd think that'd be a huge selling point to all of the actual fanboys out there.

Anyway, here's the trailer:

Jason Segel and Paul Rudd, together again.

I want to see this, if for the cast only. Luckily, it looks funny.

Synecdoche, New York trailer

I love every movie that Charlie Kaufman has written, and this one looks like it won't disappoint.
