And now we know.

Jen and Ben have released the name of their new baby: Seraphina Rose Elizabeth Affleck. I have to say, I like it. It's different yet not so weird that your reaction is "Bzuh?".

I mean, not everyone needs to be Lisa Bonet, you know? (Her poor kid, whose name is almost completely unpronounceable, is Nakoa-Wolf Manakauapo Namakaeha Momoa).

Romijn-O'Connell Twins

In case you're keeping track of celebrity baby names, Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell named their twins - born on December 8th - Charlie Tamara Tulip and Dolly Rebecca Rose. Not the worst names I've ever heard. Also not the best. But at least they're remotely normal. (Too bad Charlie isn't a nickname, though).

Sickboy is a daddy

Jonny Lee Miller, of Trainspotting, Eli Stone and Angelina Jolie's first ex and his wife had a baby boy. Which they named Buster.

Will the weird names never end?

Also, remember when he looked like this:
Yum.

It's a little hipster emo boy.

I am unembarrassed to admit that I love love love Fall Out Boy. I think Patrick Stump has an amazing voice, and the songs are catchy and clever. I also think Pete Wentz is a total famewhore. But he's cute, and his relationship with Ashlee Simpson made her more interesting to me.

Anyway, they had a baby boy on Thursday. Also, they named him Bronx. For reals. Little Bronx Wentz can hang out with Brooklyn Beckham and Phoenix Scary Spice (or whatever that kid's last name is). Naming a kid after a city is so hip. Oh yeah, and his middle name is Mowgli. LOL.

And more babies!

Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have a new baby boy to add to their family. Born today and named Zuma Nesta Rock Rossdale. Seriously.

Ok, I make fun of celebrities and their name choices for their children, but what the eff is that name?! Zuma is a game I'd play online when I was bored! This one is up there with the weirdest names ever.

Congrats, anyway.

Babies babies babies.

Congratulations to Matt Damon and his wife Luciana on the birth of their second daughter (her third), Gia Zavala. She was born yesterday, and both baby and mama are doing well.

It's like a celebrity baby boom!

Busy Phillips, of Freaks & Geeks and Dawson's Creek and most recently ER - also godmother to Matilda Williams-Ledger - gave birth to her own daughter this week. And the new baby's name: Birdie Leigh. Um. Well, I guess it's ok since mama's name is Busy. Anyway, congrats!

No, this wasn't an excuse to post a picture of James Franco...ok, yes it was.

Twin Jolie-Pitts!

It's been a big week for babies. Angelina Jolie has now given birth to the newest Jolie-Pitts, a boy, Knox Leon, and a girl, Vivienne Marcheline. I like that Brad and Angelina don't choose really off the wall names to seem interesting. It seems like they choose almost classic though unusual names.

So, should we start guessing which celebrity kids will be dating each other in 20 years? And smoosh their names together a'la Brangelina?

Shiloh Jolie Pitt and Levi Alves McConaughey = Shivi?
Harlow Richie Madden and Sean Preston Federline = Federlow?

Mamas and Papas

Well, Nicole Kidman has finally given birth to a baby (I almost said she's finally a mom, but she has two adopted kids with Tom Cruise). She and hubby Keith Urban named their new daughter Sunday Rose. Which...I kinda like. Whether I believe it's a snub to Scientology or not is a whole other story (I don't, because...is she really that bitter about it?).

And Matthew McConaughey is now a daddy as well. He and his model girlfriend Camila Alves are now the proud parents of Levi Alves McConaughey. Alright alright alright.

Gag.

Jessica Alba had a baby girl yesterday. And named her Honor. Honor.

Ok, that one is the worst. I'll take Apple over that any day. At least Apple isn't named that because her parents obviously think they're better than everyone. And really, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chris Martin > Jessica Alba and Cash Warren, so at least they'd have reason to think they're better than everyone.
