You hear about how great Mad Men and Breaking Bad are all year long when they're not on the air, and incessantly when they are, and that's the kind of treatment Sons of Anarchy should be getting. It started out a little rough, as some shows are known to do, but by the third or fourth episode it had gotten its footing and barreled on to fucking awesome from there on out. Every single actor on the show from the regulars on down to the guest stars are fantastic, and no one more than Ms. Katey Sagal up there. You will forget she was ever big-haired, whiny Peg Bundy as soon as she opens her mouth as Gemma. It's a travesty that she wasn't nominated for an Emmy this year.Don't let the fact that it's about a motorcycle club scare you. That's kind of what kept me from watching too, but a friend convinced me to give it a try and I'm so glad I did. You've got until September 7th to catch up, which is totally doable. The seasons are only 13 episodes long.
