How cool is it that Kal Penn left the show House to go work at THE WHITE HOUSE?! So cool. He's now the associate director in the White House office of public liaison. Go Kumar!!
He has participated in the Obama campaign as a public speaker, he also has a degree in sociology and was even a visiting teacher at University of Pennsylvania.
I didn't know any of that other than the fact that he'd been involved in Obama's campaign in some way. It's incredibly awesome that the guy who played Kumar is so far from being that person, like how Lisa Kudrow is very smart but played Phoebe so well.
Go Kal! I hope this new career is even more successful than his last one.

I don't really understand how he got that job or why he's qualified, though.
This is such good news for Kal, He always seems so passionate when he does his speeches at universities.
